Description

The TLP521-1 is a single-channel optocoupler (opto-isolator) consisting of an infrared light-emitting diode (LED) optically coupled to an NPN phototransistor. It enables electrical isolation between low-voltage control circuits and higher-voltage power or noisy sections of electronic systems by transmitting signals via light within a compact 4-pin DIP (Dual In-Line Package) or equivalent surface mount package.
