Description
The M51996AFP is a primary switching regulator controller IC designed to generate a regulated DC voltage from an AC or DC supply. It directly drives MOSFETs with fast rise/fall output pulses and uses pulse-width modulation (PWM) for efficient switching power regulation. Originally developed by Mitsubishi Electric and now under Renesas Electronics, this device is used in DC-DC converters and switching power supplies for industrial and electronic applications.
