Description

The A3120 (HCPL-3120) is a single-channel optocoupler with integrated gate-driver output stage designed for driving high-power switching devices such as IGBTs (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistors) and power MOSFETs in inverter and motor-control applications. The device uses an internal LED optically coupled to a high-speed output transistor and power buffer to provide galvanic isolation between the input control logic and high-voltage power stage. It offers high common-mode transient immunity and supports industrial-speed switching.
