Description

The TLP521-2 is a dual-channel optically isolated coupler (optocoupler) that transmits electrical signals between two isolated circuits using infrared LED light and phototransistor detectors. It provides electrical isolation between input (LED) and output (transistor) sides, enabling signal transfer where galvanic isolation is required — for example between different voltage domains or noisy power electronics circuits.
